Details: This Sea-Dweller model reference 16660, also referred to by collectors as the 'Triple Six' has been serviced by Rolex prior to being offered for sale.
It is considered a transitional model, bridging between the vintage Sea-Dweller 1665 and the later 16600 model, doubling the water resistance of its predecessor with the help of a thicker case and larger helium escape valve. This model also introduced the use of scratch resistant sapphire crystal instead of plexi-glass and a unidirectional bezel to improve driving safety.
The watch comes with outer and inner box, original UK papers from 1989 and original booklets. The green wallet, red Rolex seal, anchor, extra bracelet extension link and tool are all present.
The 2022 service card and booklet also come with a Rolex travel pouch and box. The watch was previously serviced by Rolex in 2013 and the service card and booklet for this are included.
