Description: This collectable brass telescope is in very good condition for its age.
It comes with its leather case and is stamped 'ROSS, LONDON No.77507' and 'CHARLES COOK'.
When closed the telescope is approx. 11 1/4 inches long increasing to 34inches fully extended.
It weighs approx. 1.6Kg with the case.
The lenses are in good order and the eye piece shutter works smoothly.
The sections extend and close with a smooth tight action and the noise of the pressurised air escaping between the joins.
I have used the telescope and it work as it should.
The leather case has had the stitching renewed at some point in the past.
This is a genuine vintage piece and as you would expect has minor marks and the like acquired from handling over the years.
It would make a really nice addition to any collection!
